Two steps, and neither invents a number. We keep only platforms that name USDT among their accepted assets, then rank what’s left by its Degen Score — custody 30%, odds 30%, payout speed 25%, coin support 15%.

We credit what an operator lists, not what it implies. Several custodial books advertise things like “+140 more coins” without naming them. Across the wider market USDT wins on ubiquity: more books take it, and it exists on more networks than any other stablecoin. That advantage is a custodial book advantage — conventional operators accept many assets because accepting assets is cheap when you run the ledger yourself.

Non-custodial platforms settle through smart contracts and standardise on whatever their chain’s deepest stablecoin is, which on EVM layer-2s and Solana has largely been USDC. So the coin that is easiest to deposit is also the one that most often comes with a house-held balance. What actually matters when betting in USDT

Pick the network deliberately. USDT exists on Ethereum, Tron, BSC and others, and the cost difference between them is not marginal. Which one is cheaper is no longer a fixed rule: in 2026 an ERC-20 transfer often costs cents, while a TRC-20 transfer depends on whether the sender has Tron energy staked or rented. Compare on the day, and check your exchange’s withdrawal fee, which is often the bigger cost.

A deposit address belongs to one network. Send USDT over a network the receiving address does not support and it may be gone permanently. Always send a small test amount first.

Issuer and disclosure differ from USDC. Both track the dollar; they differ in who issues them and how much is published about reserves. For a bankroll moving in and out over days this matters less than coverage does — for a large idle balance, read up.
