Deepest on-chain liquidity for outcome trading — but it prices probability in shares, not fixed odds. A different instrument, not a sportsbook substitute.

Non-custodial
Exchange-style betting on Solana with one of the fairest fee structures here — ~3% on net winnings only. Liquidity thins out on niche sports.

Tightest margins we found across mainstream football, basketball and tennis markets. No welcome bonus — value comes from pricing and VIP rakeback instead.

Methodology

How the Degen Score is built

The Degen Score is a weighted average of four criteria, applied identically to all 12 platforms. The weights are fixed and published, so every total can be recalculated from the sub-scores shown on each review.

30%
Custody & settlement

Are funds genuinely non-custodial and settled by contract, or is "crypto" just a payment rail on a conventional book?

30%
Odds & margin

How much the book takes out of a market, compared across the same fixtures — or, on exchanges, how the fee is charged.

25%
Payout speed

Time from withdrawal request to funds landing, and whether winning bettors get limited.

15%
Coin & chain support

Which assets and networks you can actually fund and withdraw with, and the fee overhead on each.

FAQ

Common questions about crypto betting sites

Which crypto betting sites are actually decentralized?

Five of the twelve platforms we rate settle non-custodially — SX Bet, Polymarket, Overtime Markets, BetDEX and Bookmaker.xyz — with Divvy.bet a sixth at an early stage. Non-custodial is not the same as fully decentralized: some route order matching through their own infrastructure rather than putting every step on-chain. And several platforms that market themselves as crypto-native still hold your balance, which we score as custodial.

Can you bet with crypto without KYC?

On the non-custodial platforms, generally yes — you connect a wallet and bet, with no account to open and no identity check. Bookmaker.xyz goes furthest, with no sign-up step at all. The caveat is that some gate extras behind verification while leaving betting open: SX Bet requires KYC for its rewards programme but not to place a bet. Custodial books typically ask before a withdrawal rather than at sign-up.

What is the difference between a crypto sportsbook and a prediction market?

A sportsbook quotes a price you take or leave; a prediction market prices an outcome as tradable shares. Polymarket is the prediction market on our list. It suits outright and season-long questions, and a position can be exited before the event resolves. For individual fixtures a sportsbook such as Stake or Cloudbet is the better fit. They are different instruments, not rival versions of the same one.

Do crypto betting sites limit or ban winning bettors?

That depends on the structure rather than the brand. Where you are matched against other users instead of a house — the SX Bet order book, the BetDEX exchange — no operator has an incentive to restrict you, and SX Bet states it applies no limits. A conventional book carries that incentive by design. We fold it into the payout criterion for exactly this reason.

Which crypto betting site has the widest sports coverage?

BC.Game lists the most sports by count, at 80+, alongside the widest asset support we score. Cloudbet answers a different question: depth rather than breadth, with lower divisions and markets the larger books skip. Stake has the widest mainstream coverage. On-chain platforms are narrower as a rule, because a market needs enough two-sided interest to exist at all.
