DexSport is a crypto-accepting sportsbook and casino operated by Dexapp LTD, registered in Anjouan, Comoros, and live since roughly 2021–2022 (sources differ slightly on the exact launch date). It accepts deposits and withdrawals across 20+ blockchain networks and dozens of cryptocurrencies — the exact count varies across the platform's own pages, so we won't pin an exact figure here — and covers 20+ sports plus wide esports markets (CS2, Dota 2, League of Legends, Valorant and more) alongside a large casino library.

The "on-chain" claim, and why we're skeptical

DexSport's own marketing describes a "public on-chain live bet desk" and calls the platform non-custodial. Independent technical review (from CryptoSlate) reached a different conclusion: it found DexSport is actually custodial in practice — users deposit into the platform's own wallet system, and bets are matched and settled by DexSport's backend rather than by a public smart contract. We think the most accurate way to describe DexSport is as a "Web2.5" platform: it accepts deposits across dozens of chains and wallets for convenience, but funds are held and bets are settled by the operator's own backend, not by an on-chain protocol. Its marketing leans on decentralization language that independent reviewers dispute, so we'd treat the "on-chain" framing with real skepticism rather than taking it at face value.

"No-KYC" is DexSport's other headline claim, and it appears to hold at sign-up and deposit — but independent review indicates identity verification can be triggered at withdrawal time as part of anti-money-laundering and suspicious-activity checks. In practice, that means no-KYC to sign up and fund an account, but verification may still be requested before a withdrawal is released.

Pros

  • Very broad multi-chain, multi-coin deposit convenience across 20+ networks
  • Wide esports market coverage alongside a large casino library
  • Low-friction, wallet-based sign-up

Cons

  • Despite "decentralized"/"on-chain" marketing, independent review finds it operates as a custodial, Web2.5-style platform where funds sit with the operator, not on-chain
  • "No-KYC" claims don't fully hold up at withdrawal, where verification can be requested
  • Mixed real-world reputation reports, including withdrawal delays and account holds, per third-party reviews

Platform & custody notes

DexSport is a custodial platform in practice, despite decentralization-themed marketing — treat it as a Web2.5 crypto sportsbook (crypto-native deposits, centrally-held funds and backend-settled bets) rather than a fully on-chain protocol. It has been live since roughly 2021–2022. Confirm current withdrawal timelines and verification triggers directly on dexsport.io before depositing anything you're not prepared to have held by the operator.

Our verdict

DexSport's multi-chain convenience and esports depth are real strengths, but don't sign up expecting a genuinely on-chain, non-custodial experience — independent review suggests it isn't one. It may suit bettors who mainly want broad coin support and are comfortable with a conventional custodial sportsbook that happens to market itself with crypto-native language.
